Unconfirmed: Exclusive Bonus Map Included With Call of Duty: WWII's Season Pass

A remade map from Call of Duty 2.

A marketing image which EB Games’ Australia branch added and then quickly removed from its website suggests that those who purchase Call of Duty: WWII’s season pass will be granted access to an exclusive multiplayer map called Carentan.

If the name Carentan sounds familiar, that’s because it was also a map featured in the original Call of Duty 2. The map was later updated and re-released as ‘Chinatown’ in both Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and the more recent Modern Warfare Remastered.

Activision and Sledgehammer Games have yet to fully detail the contents of Call of Duty: WWII’s season pass, but since previous Call of Duty games have included season pass-exclusive goodies, it seems likely that EB Games’ inadvertent leak will end up being a real feature, Activision likely just wants to wait a little longer before properly unveiling it.
