Call of Duty: WWII's Zombies Mode Will Reportedly Be Called 'Army of the Dead'

A new trailer has been leaked ahead of the full reveal.

A full reveal of Call of Duty: WWII’s new Zombies co-op experience won’t be arriving until later this week, but it would seem that the trailer for said mode has leaked early, giving fans an in-depth tease of what to expect along with what appears to be the mode’s official name: Army of the Dead.

The trailer, which originated from a Twitter leak that was shared on Reddit, doesn’t offer much in the way of specific gameplay details, but it does prove that Army of the Dead will take on a much more dark and violent tone (even by Zombies standards) than previous Call of Duty games. It’s hard to imagine there will be a lot of witty banter being exchanged between the playable protagonists (even if they will reportedly be portrayed by Hollywood actors) in this frightening new world that Sledgehammer has created.

Sledgehammer responded to the trailer leak via Twitter, saying the trailer isn’t technically finished. The finished version of the trailer will undoubtedly be shown when Sledgehammer hosts the full Zombies unveiling on July 20. In the meantime, you can watch the leaked trailer here if you’re so inclined.
