Call of Duty: WWII's Zombies Mode Will Feature Hollywood Actors

A new cadre of familiar Hollywood faces will have to fight off the undead.

While a full reveal for Call of Duty: WWII’s co-op Zombies mode won’t be coming until later this month, a recent Comic-Con listing has revealed at least one detail ahead of time: the mode will feature characters who are portrayed by famous Hollywood actors.

The confirmation that Call of Duty: WWII’s Zombies mode will feature Hollywood actors came courtesy of an official Comic-Con description for the full Zombies reveal which was recently posted on Reddit. The description specifically mentions a “Hollywood cast of actors who will be surviving this year’s zombies horror,” implying that the Hollywood faces will be playable characters and not simply background NPC’s.

Considering the fact that playable characters played by famous Hollywood personalities has been a key component of Zombies ever since the mode’s early days, it’s not terribly surprising to learn that the trend will continue in Call of Duty: WWII, especially since the game’s story campaign will be featuring prominent Hollywood actors as well. Stay tuned for the full Call of Duty: WWII Zombies reveal which is set to take place on July 20.
