Cranked, a unique multiplayer mode which Infinity Ward first introduced in Call of Duty: Ghosts, is now available in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and will remain so until Friday, March 31st.
For those who aren’t familiar with how Cranked works, it’s basically a variant of the standard Team Deathmatch mode in which two teams vie for kills. However, when a player scores a kill in Cranked, they’re granted benefits like enhanced movement speed, faster aiming, and more.
Once a player “becomes cranked” (i.e. scores a kill), they have 30 seconds to score another kill and keep the effect going. If a cranked player can’t score another kill in 30 seconds, they blow up and automatically die.
