Black Ops 3 Revelations: How To Get The Nunchucks

Beat up some zombies karate style with the Nunchuck melee weapon in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's Revelations.

This guide will show you how to get the Nunchucks in Revelations. Like the melee weapons in Gorod Krovi, a simple time trial is all that is required to unlock the Nunchucks in Black Ops 3. For those who need a refresher, fear not! Opshead is here to help to get the Nunchucks.

How to Unlock the Nunchucks

The Revelations Nunchucks are unlocked through time trials, meaning you will have to complete five rounds in five minutes or less. In order to accomplish this, you will have to throw conventional starting methods out of the window. Forget about unlocking the most points by shooting in the leg and stabbing. Run around and melee every zombie you see immediatley for a one hit kill! Once the zombies are no longer an easy one or two hit kill, buy the RK-5 in the starter room. Normally you would avoid the RK-5, but it is the earliest weapon you can acquire that will melt the early zombie hordes. Melee and RK-5 your way, and make sure you don't open up too many areas of the map, and you will be able to unlock the Nunchucks by beating five Revelations rounds in five minutes!

Finding the Nunchucks

Sadly, once the Nunchucks are unlocked, they will not magically appear in your inventory. To pick up the BO3 Nunchucks in Revelations, make your way over to the Shangri La section of the map. Make your way up the stairs of the Temple. Once at the top of the stairs, look to your right and you should see the same Time Attack board from previous maps. If you beat round five in five minutes, the Nunchucks will be waiting for you!

Make sure you pick these up right away, since unlocking a new Time Attack will get rid of the Nunchucks. If you are looking for a little more of a challenge for a better melee weapon, follow our steps to unlock the Katana in Revelations!
