Black Ops 3’s new Gorod Krovi Zombies map includes a number of different wearable items you can unlock, one of which is a slick-looking pair of Dragon Wings. Below, you’ll find a detailed guide on how to unlock and equip the Dragon Wings, giving you an extra edge against Gorod
Things To Know
In total, there are three different wearable items you can unlock: the Dragon Wings, the Mangler Helmet, and the Valkyrie Helmet. Sadly, you can only wear one of the three items at a time, though you can unlock all three items in a single match and switch between them as you see fit.
Step 1: Ride All Three Dragons
As part of the process to find Gorod Krovi’s Pack-a-Punch machine, you will get the opportunity to ride some friendly dragons, and there are three different places where a rideable dragon can be summoned (the Dragon Command building with the map’s power switch, the Supply Depot, and the Tank Factory). The first step towards unlocking the Dragon Wings involves riding a dragon from all three spots. If you’re in a group with other players, only one player has to ride a dragon from all three spots to fulfill the requirements for this step.
Step 2: Unlock And Equip The Gauntlet Of Siegfried
In order to get the Dragon Wings, you also have to unlock and equip the Gauntlet of Siegfried special weapon. If you need help with this step, we have a full guide on how to unlock the Gauntlet of Siegfried that will help you complete this step in no time.
Note: technically, the above two steps can be done in either order or even simultaneously. Basically, to find the Dragon Wings, you need to have the Gauntlet of Siegfried equipped and to have ridden all three dragons.
Step 3: Head To The Top Floor Of The Department Store
Once you have the Gauntlet of Siegfried and you’ve ridden on all three dragons, head on up to the third floor of the Department Store and look for the mannequin you see in the above image (it’s near a large circular gauge on the wall which has a blue light on it). If you successfully fulfilled both of the above criteria, the mannequin should have a pair of Dragon Wings attached to its back. Simply approach the mannequin, hold down the “Use” button, and the Wings are yours.
While the Dragon Wings sadly don’t allow you to fly around the map, they do convey a 30 percent buff in damage resistance against both fire damage and explosive damage, and they also allow you to immediately drop down into the Pack-a-Punch bunker without having to first ride a dragon simply be returning to one of the
